Ohio Youth Denied Graduation Walk Due to Cancer Absences - Update: School Board Relents (sort of)

I wish I were making this up.  I wish this were an April Fools Day joke and I wish this was not happening in my home state of Ohio.  A young man, Carrollton High School Senior Austin Fisher is being denied the chance to walk at graduation because he has missed 2 more days than allowable under the school board's attendance policy.  The reason sickens me beyond belief.  He has missed those days to care for his mother, who is fighting cancer.  Follow me below the fluer-de-Kos to see how you can help.
